Hi friends!
Hope your week is going well. I’m spending mine in Eastbourne England, in meetings with Spring Harvest (Europe’s biggest Christian event) dreaming and planning about this year’s event (April 2010) and next year’s event (April 2011). I love being part of this team!
Thanks SO much for your ongoing support of the EP. Looking at the stats on which song of the 3 is the most popular, Deliverer seems to be winning the polls! So I’m focusing on Deliverer in this blog post.
Ever since we recorded the EP, I’ve wanted to make a video about each of the three songs, to give you an introduction, a guided tour of sorts, to each song!
So here is the first one! The video contains three parts so feel free to skip if you want to focus on only one or two sections. First I play the song on my acoustic guitar so you can see how to play it on just one instrument… sometimes it’s hard to imagine a song without the full album arrangement, so here it is, stripped down and simple!
Second I show you how to play the chords (piano players I apologize this is guitar-led…but my piano skills are bad!! Hopefully you can translate these chords onto keys!).
Third, I give you the story about why the song was written… so you can get some insight into what inspired me in the writing process.

“Salvation Day” is the first song on my EP, and is also a radio single right now. If you haven’t heard it yet, you can get it from iTunes by clicking here!
My song, Salvation Day, is a celebration of God rescuing us, and us remembering the season or moment when we gave ourselves to him. Salvation means….
“Preservation or deliverance from destruction, difficulty, or evil.
It means we have been rescued and that is worth singing and shouting about 
Some people have a ‘date’ where they can remember a prayer they prayed. Other people can’t pinpoint the day, the week or even the year…their surrender to Jesus was more gradual, like slowly falling in love. Whichever is your story, they are all precious and powerful testimonies. Some people come to know Jesus through tragedy and crisis, others through joy and miracles…some had a Christian upbringing…some didn’t…every story is unique.
Salvation in Greek is ‘sozo’ and it encapsulates the meaning of being completely saved, in our totality… So not only are our souls rescued from death, but salvation encorporates the entire work of the Holy Spirit as He heals, restores and sanctifies us every day. So even though we receive our salvation the moment we ask Jesus to be our Savior, the work of salvation continues in us as we are more and more formed into holiness.
I’ve launched a page where we can all share our story! It’s called MySalvationDay.com and that link will take you there! Go share your story – do it for your own heart, to remember what drew you to Jesus… do it for others, as we are encouraged when we hear how others found Him! It’s like a colorful tapestry that grows brighter and bigger the more piece of fabric are woven into it…
You can either tell the story of the season or moment when you first surrendered to Jesus… or in the wider meaning of the word “Sozo” you can tell everyone of a work that God is currently doing in your life to continue His “Sozo” in you… a recent breakthrough, a recent healing or deliverance in your personal journey!

I’m very encouraged by the banner ads on iTunes! And that they put the EP in the “New and Noteworthy” section too.
Don’t really know who makes all those choices about what gets pushed on iTunes, but whoever you are thanks for believing in me and my team and the music we are creating. It means a lot to feel like people are being touched by it and that you think it’s worth shouting about

Hi gang!
SO many people have been involved in making the EP and new Album…it’s ironic that it has any one person’s face on it when it was such a team effort! Because I know it WASN’T just me who made it, and because so many other people were part of it, I get a lot of joy from sharing people’s responses… Me tweeting them and blogging them is my way of saying how great my team are and how much thanks they deserve!
So… all that to say…here are a few new reviews… Click on them to go to the sites and see the full write-ups.. The first one is from Chris Marsh, a worship leader in the UK, who went to youth group with me…so it means a lot to hear his thoughts when he literally saw me lead worship (very badly!!!) when I had just begun in my early teens!
I’m also posting these reviews to show that individual bloggers DO have a voice in Cyberspace. That you don’t have to be a huge Christian magazine or radio station in order to have an opinion and let it be known. So keep blogging guys!

Hey friends! Wow, what an exciting week it’s been…. I’m still blown away by your support. The EP is still sitting in the Top 10 of iTunes’s CCM album chart…which is really encouraging!
Ok… on a lighter note… I keep getting texts and tweets from people saying “I thought I saw YOU on the Olympics….!”.. So I checked out the girl they are talking about… If you look at photos of me from a few years ago (here’s a still shot from back when I hosted the online show the New Song Cafe and had a different hair style)…you can kinda see the resemblance!
So… maybe in my spare time when I’m not writing and recording music, I’m training to be an olympic skiier???!

Well… I’m blow away… and again, it’s all thanks to you guys!
I didn’t think we’d have a presence/impact on the non CCM iTunes album chart at all…. but the EP is sitting at 76, next to Pink and Pearl Jam… who are both favorites of mine… so, this has brought a grateful and surprised smile to my face
