From The Vault…

Hey guys!

Found this old interview….reminds me of the days when I didn’t have two-colored hair! It’s a little video piece I did with “OneCubedTV” in Nashville, telling the story of my song Above All Else.

I’m changing guitar strings here…. playing a concert tomorrow night…. I wonder if someone might invent the “string-less guitar” one day, so that we don’t have to change strings anymore! You keyboard players out there have it easy…haha… (no you don’t really..I know guitars are MUCH easier to transport than keyboards!).

    Heyhey
Guitar strings... dont get me started on guitar strings... their always a hassle...
if you dont change them regularly they sound naff and if you do change them then the slip out of tune the first couple of days... Just cant win...

You'll be proud of me though Vicky...

I picked up a harmonica at a for £1.99 at Oxfam today! its nickel and brass and seems to be good quality as well... hehe i'm hopeless at the moment, but still, can't go wrong for 1.99...

  • I don't know about a stringless guitar, but I have an idea: you know those machines in public restrooms that dispense a new toilet seat cover whenever you wave your hand in front of the sensor? What if the same concept was applied to a guitar, where there would be a repository of strings that would just shift down to the proper position when you pressed a certain button? I could be rich.
  • Thanks for sharing this video! I love the story about how you wrote this song... such a great song/prayer too! And it doesn't ever hurt to be reminded that if I make Christ the focus and center of my life, everything else will fall into its proper place; He is what matters most.
  • Vicki:

Thanks for sharing your story! Your song reminds me of another great worship song "Above All" by Paul Baloche.
