Leeland Sing ‘Gang Vocals’ on Vicky’s Record

I had a wonderful, unexpected surprise this past week. My friends from the band “Leeland” – who if you’ve never met them are some of the greatest guys on the planet – were sound checking in San Diego for the Christian Music Awards. They had a few hours free, so they drove to the studio I’m recording in and sang some ‘gang vocals’ on some of my songs. Thanks guys!

Some of the songs I joined the ‘gang’ and sang on… Others I just stood and watched as it was a special moment for me to see all those people singing my songs and bringing their voices and hearts to the record.

    I'm starting to believe you are gettting sponsored to infect some apple virus into my mind.. I want an Iphone too now! :P Cool all those people helping you out and singing your songs before they are out & familiar :)

    I love to sing and play music and I grew up in a rather music-loving-playing family. My brother went to Kathryn Scott to do a worship internship and he does a lot of leading worship in churches, conferences. Went with him to Czech Republic this summer for an international Athletes in Action conference. Was awesome to sing together on stage and lead people from all different countries to God in worship.

    I hope I can join the november youthworkersconference in the UK. As a youthworker I am really looking forward to that!

    Actually back in the spring became involved with music ministry at church I felt God leading back to this after searching for right place to serve.Since then done tech stuff media/visual arts, a few month back did biblical theology of expressions of worship in the bible for messages that my teaching pastor has used several messages to the congregation. Still praying considering with playing bass again need make it priority.

    That looks like a ton of fun. I wish I could have joined in, but I fear I am neither located in the right part of the country or cool enough as a Blackberry user. I have a small community of artists I play with and I've been diligently praying for more. I want co-writers more than anything.
