Hi Vicky!
My wonderful friend Kristina told me about your blog. It was so great to come here and see her awesome pictures of you and your trip to Disney World. I am fascinated by your involvement in the Narnia talks and it was cool to read about your experiences in sharing with the kids. I know from personal experience that K is a great prayer warrior and I am sure that the two of you had the best time!

I think the Ultrasone headphones I tried out were either the HFI-2200 or the PRO 650.

The 1/4″ outputs from the CP33 are pretty noisy – even when hooked directly to my Mackies. Looks like I’m gonna give the CP300 a shot with hopes that the XLR outputs will have much less hum/buzz. Part and parcel with that upgrade come twice the polyphony, price, and weight. At least one of those three is good… )

Sounds like a wonderful opportunity you had and at Disney to boot! It is one of the “happiest places on earth!!:)” I was so excited when we sang one of your songs for the first time at church last Sunday! I have been telling our music pastor about you! It was “Yesterday, Today and Forever!” I also LOVE your song “At All Times” God used it to speak into my life a few years ago! Keep pressing on. My prayers go with you, Karyne

Vicky – here I am back after surprising myself by making my purchase at the local Guitar Center (I usually move more slowly on this sort of thing) – and I find that you’ve replied to my question; thank you! Your input is very valuable and makes me feel pleased with my choice of the Yamaha CP series. I ended up going with the CP33 after playing and listening closely to both. I felt like the touch was slightly better on the CP300, but I liked the sound better on the CP33. I was really torn between the two keyboards, but I’ve got 60 days before my decision is final. Until then I can still choose to spring for the CP300 and won’t lose anything on the deal.

For all the musicians here, I should mention that I used a very nice pair of Ultrasone headphones when comparing the keyboards. That was my first experience with that brand, but I was quite impressed.

Jonathan – the Yamaha pianos are my favorite… the CP250 is the one I always try and get on the road…the CP300 sounds like the next one up in the series… they have nicely weighted keys and great reverb…I’m a fan of them!
