Greetings!

Thanks for all the kind words, twitters, comments and prayers as I made it through my wisdom teeth removal! I promised that I’d shoot some video…. so here it is :-) Sorry if some moments are a bit gross… and I hope you get a smile out of seeing me still rather groggy after the anaesthetic!

Thanks for the video! I go to the dentist next week the teeth beside my wisdom teeth is decaying. The dentist is going to fix maybe use a root canal. I’m hoping I don’t have to my wisdom teeth out.

Interesting video. I know how you feel. I have had 3 or 4 tooth extractions. May I offer some suggestions:

1.) Talk VERY LITTLE

2.) Make sure the bandage stays on that area or it will not heal properly. Then, you may need stiches.

3.) Eat soup for a few days. Nothing hard and chunky. Try not to eat on that side of your mouth.

4.) Sleep sitting up. Dentist told me that it will help with the healing process.

5. REST! REST! REST! DRINK TEA! REST! REST! REST! Even if you watch television on the couch, rest as much as you can.

6.) There will be times when you will swallow blood. Try not to swallow blood as much as you can. I have had a styrofoam cup with me, when it is time to spit. I would keep it with me around the house. It looks gross, but it can be help. The less blood you swallow the better.
5.) Don’t worry about how you sound. This will all pass. Trust me you will be glad you got your tooth extracted when you did.

Thanks sharing your experience with wisdom teeth removal. I personally have had my mouth feel swollen after the dentist fillings for a few cavities one was one my wisdom tooth.

Not gonna lie, I thought about watching the video, but couldnt/ im super squeemish about stuff like that. Props though for taking “being transparent” to a whole new level haha I remember having mine out in high school and having to go to school the next day with insane puffy cheeks. I dont want to talk about it.haha

Wow.. Removal of wisdom tooth can be a tough experience, especially when you don’t really want them removed. But some people decide to get them extracted because of the pain; people planning to get braces are sometimes required to get them removed, too. Hope we can see the video, as it is no longer available for viewing. Anyway, you sure did a pretty good job.
