Hey Vicky the SHE Event was great last night, I really admire the faith you have in God. Thank you so much for coming out in the snow and I’m glad to hear you are safe today.

I have one sister and my parents are now going through a divorce. I am living with my grandmother now. My sister and I had the great opportunity to see the world growing up as my dad was in the army. We saw most of the U.S. and then Germany, Canada, and Switzerland.

Hi Vicky~ I have 4 members in my family. I have a wonderful mom and dad-Donna and Hunt and one sister-Olivia and me-Lexi. We don’t get along very well but we all love eachtother so much! <3 I have 3 grandparents alive right now and 2 aunts and uncles. I also have 5 cousins. We are one big happy family and i hope to hear more about your family!

lets see, I think you’ve met everyone in my family except my bro and my grandparents… he likes to be a bit disconnected from the rest of us. so lets see, Debra-Mum, Burt-Dad, BJ, Bryant, Erin and me. and then my Grandmother, Wilma, and Grandfather, Tom.
I grew up in Virginia, it’s weird, I think Virginia is all I know. I’ve lived in the same house for 15 years, but we’ve pretty much stayed in the same area my entire life.

I’ve had a great weekend back home with family – here in Michigan. My youngest sister turned ten on Friday, and we celebrated together on both Friday and Saturday.

Thanks for sharing your family with us, Vicky! (You must be a mind reader!) :o) What an awesome heritage you have!!! (Is that set of grandparents your father’s parents or your mother’s?)

I’m the oldest of five kids. I’ve got one brother (and sister-in-law) and one sister who are all in their twenties – as well as a sister in her Junior year of high school and then my youngest sister is still in grade school.

I’m very fortunate that both sides of the families have a strong Christian heritage going back generations. Both of my parents grew up near Grand Rapids, Michigan and they ended up meeting at Bible college. Dad taught school for a while after graduating and then took up selling Aflac insurance – which he has done for twenty-some years. Mom has stayed home with us kids – even during the early years when finances were really tight. We’ve lived a couple different places around the Grand Rapids area, and now my place is not far from there – in Holland, Michigan. My three sisters live at home still, and my brother and sister-in-law are living in Chicago – where he is selling Aflac, volunteering at a hospital, and working to get into medical school and she is teaching in one of the inner-city public schools. Now that I think about it, I guess I’m the oddball among the kids for not pursuing something medical. My seventeen-year-old sister plans to study to be a physician’s assistant, and my sister who’s out of college is an occupational therapist. Somehow, I ended up going the technology route and ended up getting a BSEE. …and as my brother so kindly pointed out recently, you can’t spell “geek” without a “double E.” :o)

On the subject of missions, both of my parents have wanted to do missions work, but so far have only been able to do short-term trips. All of us kids (except for the youngest) have been on short or medium term missions trips in various places in the world and have a desire to more with this. I wouldn’t be surprised if our youngest sister pursues a bit of that as well, but she’s still rather young. :o)

My family ….hummm lets see… I am the oldest of 3, I have 1 very active 8 year old little bro and 1 very load 18 year old sister, my mother and farther are divorced and my mother is re-married so suppose you could say parent wise I got 3 but there is only ever one mum and dad. Then there’s the 4 ants and uncles (2 of each) with 4 little cosines (some not so little now … i fill old), o yeah then there is the 1 Nan and 1 gramps. I think that sums us nut cases up, I am the only Christian in the hole family so gods got a lot of work to do here (which is exciting). Congrats on the purchase of the I-pone I am yet to justify getting one seen as the amount of gadgets I own seams to be forever growing… anyway… o yeah were do I live… I live in place called Bexleyheath in south east London on the border of Kent. cya

Hi Vicky! I am the oldest of 3 children. I am 17, my brother is 15, and my sister is 9. We live with our parents in Sugar Land, TX. All 5 of us were born in Baton Rouge, LA. You’ll have to let me know when you make a trip to Houston! Sugar Land is just SW of Houston.

It’s been forever since I’ve been on, let alone talked to you! College ya know….kinda drags you down sometimes :D
Anyways, I LOVED hearing about your grandparents (I really like their accents too, wish i had one) Anyways, I also think it is amazing that your family worked along side Smith Wigglesworth! He was a true man of God. I know his work has touched many lives, including my own! It made me smile, that you have some sort of “connection” as it were.
I pray you stay strong and keep waging war. and i’ll try to log on more!
